Sara Castellano

Real Estate Lawyer & Managing Partner

Sara Castellano graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science. She commenced her second and third-year studies at Robson Hall Faculty of Law after being accepted as a transfer student from the University of North Dakota School of Law. Upon graduating, she worked at the largest real estate brokerage in Manitoba, Royal LePage Prime before beginning her articles and was later called to the bar. Sara now practices primarily in the area of residential and commercial real estate law.

While attending university Sara worked at a real estate law firm as a real estate assistant. Later as noted above she worked at a real estate brokerage before specializing her practice in the area of real estate law after becoming a lawyer. Sara has worked in every professional capacity associated with a transaction and as a result, Sara has uniquely tailored her practice to be an extension of the real estate process she understands so well.

Customer service and step-by-step clear communication is something she particularly prides herself on. Sara’s special interest and well-rounded experience within real estate law provided her with the ability to understand transactions in a unique and thorough way from all perspectives.

In January 2022, Sara officially opened her own law firm, Castellano Law Corporation where she practices specifically real estate law. Castellano Law Corporation was created with the focus of utilizing technology to improve the client experience, increase real estate transaction efficiencies and provide clear step-by-step client communication and accessibility.

Sara is a member of the Manitoba Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. She is also a member of the Real Property Section and the Young Lawyers Section Executive with the Manitoba Bar Association.

In addition to her practice, Sara taught dance for the past 11 years at LA Dance Academy and volunteers within her community. She is a board member at Simaril Inc, an organization that supports adults in the community with intellectual disabilities, and a member of Sam Management Inc, a non-profit management corporation that responds to housing needs identified by the community.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, staying active, and cooking.
