Job Summary:
As a Senior Real Estate Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting the lawyer with residential real estate files from start to finish. This includes preparing and reviewing sale, purchase, and mortgage documents, managing clients, conducting title reviews, and overseeing mortgage payouts. You will work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and other team members in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage residential real estate files from start to finish, requiring minimal supervision.
Prepare sale, purchase, and mortgage documents for residential real estate transactions.
Draft closing documents and trust letters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Conduct title reviews and address issues with title, contracts, and agreements.
Manage mortgage payouts and work with financial institutions to facilitate closings.
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
Attend closings as required, ensuring that all documentation and procedures are handled properly.
Provide support and collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure seamless file management.
Maintain an organized system for tracking deadlines, documents, and required actions for each file.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on residential real estate transactions.
In-depth knowledge of real estate law, residential conveyancing, and all aspects of real estate transactions.
Proven ability to independently manage a full real estate file from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Experience preparing and reviewing closing documents, trust letters, and contracts.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, and adaptable Executive Assistant to support the Managing Partner and assist in various office-related tasks. Job Summary:
As the Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner, you will be responsible for providing both professional and personal support. Your role will require you to handle a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that vary day to day, including office support, reception coverage when required, and assisting staff with reports and tasks. You must have excellent multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to the Managing Partner with both professional and personal tasks.
Assist with reception coverage as needed, including answering phone calls, greeting clients, and managing visitors.
Running errands and assisting with maintaining of the office (snow removal coordination, repairs etc)
Help with file openings, organizing documents, and maintaining office files.
Assist the Accounts Manager and Paralegals with office reports and other administrative tasks.
Coordinate and help plan company events, meetings, and appointments.
Manage office needs such as ordering supplies, scheduling couriers, and handling day-to-day logistical tasks.
Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and efficient.
Communicate professionally via email and phone with clients, staff, and external vendors.
Provide miscellaneous support to staff as required to maintain smooth operations.
Demonstrate a friendly, approachable demeanor to foster positive interactions with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

No prior experience in a legal setting is necessary; however, an eagerness to learn is essential.
